Visit North Star at AIDS 2016

This is it. Tomorrow, we will be unveiling the official North Star Alliance exhibition space booth at the International AIDS Conference (AIDS 2016) in Durban, South Africa.

For our first time participating in the leading international gathering on AIDS, we wanted to give delegates a clear understanding of our model. So we thought on a grand scale, 30 square metres to be exact, and we shipped, assembled, painted and furnished our own “AIDS 2016” Blue Box clinic at the Durban International Convention Centre.

As the saying goes, “A Blue Box is worth a thousand words”, AIDS 2016 delegates will have the opportunity to experience, touch and feel a live working clinic operated by real nurses presenting our full range of services, and ready to answer even your most technical questions about HIV, hard-to-reach populations or our provision of primary health care.

But that’s not all! As “People Matter” is one of the pillar values holding our modest organisation together, we really want delegates to remember their visit at North Star.
To immortalise this experience, we have set up a photobooth where guests can get their photo taken in front of our splendid campaign banners where delegates will become part of our family.

The North Star booth is located on Walnut Road and will be open from Tuesday 19 July to Friday 22 July.

On behalf of the North Star team, we are looking forward to seeing all delegates at AIDS 2016 as we celebrate together our commitment to an AIDS free world.
