We are delighted to announce that North Star Alliance was recently accepted as one of a select number of organisations to become a member of the International Partnership for Innovative Healthcare Delivery, or IPIHD. The IPIHD is a network founded by The World Economic Forum, Duke Medicine, and McKinsey & Company, that works with organisations and entrepreneurs spanning five continents to facilitate knowledge-sharing and collaboration with the goal of helping each partner scale their innovative healthcare solutions.

In 2006, North Star was founded on the principle that substantive impact in the field of global health could be best made through collaboration, complementarity, and through the development of strategic partnerships across the public, private, and humanitarian sectors. Because of this, we’ve been able to accomplish more since we opened our first roadside clinic in 2005 than many stand-alone organisations could achieve.

Joining the IPIHD further complements this approach, and provides us with more opportunities to work alongside, and to learn from, other unique and innovative healthcare providers around the world.
