Core partners to support the Alliance in its drive to mobilise the industry. Core partners are willing to make an annual commitment of at least US$250,000 for a minimum period of two years and will take a seat on the Alliance’s board.
Major donors such as private funds, government grants and other forms of assistance to directly finance the development and roll-out of North Star Alliance’s social franchise strategy.
Centre sponsors such as public and private sector transport and associated industry players, including major humanitarian organisations, to fund Wellness Centres and assume the running costs with assistance from in-kind donors, such as local health authorities.
Affiliate members in the form of organisations and initiatives already operating one or more Wellness Centres and looking to link these Centres with other networks to share best practices, and co-operate in the areas of procurement, fundraising and promotion.
Institutions, Academics and Celebrities willing to lend their reputation, expertise and passion to a targeted, low-barrier and measurable initiative designed to promote health and well-being among transport workers and the communities with which they interact, recognising the key role they play in the prevention of STIs, such as HIV and other illnesses.
